SINISTER DEMISE originally formed in 1997 as a four piece old school death metal outfit. After a few false starts, the line-up that recorded their debut demo came about in 2002 and decided to scrap their old material in favour of a faster and heavier approach. Taking influence from bands such as MALEVOLENT CREATION, SUFFOCATION, and MORBID ANGEL, etc... The bands debut demo was recorded over three days in June/July 2003 with Mick Richards at Trackmix Studios in Dublin.
They released their second demo "Eluded By Enlightenment" in 2007. There isn't a whole lot of of info available on the band around this time, so line-up and recording info isn't clear. The band folded soon after in 2009.

I bought this album back in the days just based on the cover, and man - what a gem this turned out to be. Crushing and melodic guitar work, thundering drums, atmospheric keyboards and roaring vocal. The end result is a superb melodic death metal - A true gem!
